Mildew and mold, which tend to appear suddenly and spread are one of the very family irritants. The humidity in these types of instances can allow condensation to accumulate, which is what encourages the mould.
High and Dry
Maintaining mold and mildew can be as simple as maintaining the space around them as dry as possible. Research and close off ceiling leaks or any roof. Use an exhaust fan in kitchen and the bathroom washing and when cooking. Ensure that your air-conditioning units drain properly, and vent all water-releasing appliances out. To reduce moisture use a fan or ventilation to improve air flow. Ensure that you wash the area dry quickly if you see condensation or moisture building up on windows or blinds.
