The Way to Keep Mold and Mildew Away Mini-Blinds and Windows

Mildew and mold, which tend to appear suddenly and spread are one of the very family irritants. They appear on blinds and windows in steamy or moist areas like the bathroom, and grow best in humid environments. Mold can be common to leaks or air and weather, and on windows exposed to air conditioning vents or other moisture-releasing appliances. The humidity in these types of instances can allow condensation to accumulate, which is what encourages the mould.

High and Dry

Maintaining mold and mildew can be as simple as maintaining the space around them as dry as possible. Research and close off ceiling leaks or any roof. Use an exhaust fan in kitchen and the bathroom washing and when cooking. Ensure that your air-conditioning units drain properly, and vent all water-releasing appliances out. To reduce moisture use a fan or ventilation to improve air flow. Ensure that you wash the area dry quickly if you see condensation or moisture building up on windows or blinds.
